Current Eligibility Basics
Castle Rock’s current guidance says customers whose leak-related use reaches Tier 3 or beyond may qualify for review. Proof that the leak was fixed is required, and timeline and frequency limits apply.
Frequency Rules Apply
Castle Rock states that frequency parameters apply. Ask Water Billing to confirm the current limit for your account before relying on older program details.
A Lower Tier Rate May Apply
If approved, some leak-related use may be recalculated at a lower tier rate. Approval and the amount of any adjustment are determined by Castle Rock Water.
Water Used Is Still Payable
Customers remain responsible for the water used. The program may change the rate applied to eligible usage; it does not erase the consumption.
Timing Requirements Apply
Timeline requirements apply. Contact Castle Rock Water Billing promptly after discovering and repairing the leak to confirm the current deadline.
Proof of Repair Is Required
Keep invoices, parts receipts and other proof showing that the leak was repaired; Castle Rock lists proof of repair as a requirement.
The Application Process
Use this process as a practical starting point, then confirm every requirement directly with Castle Rock Water:
Call Castle Rock Water Billing at 303-660-1373 and request a leak-adjustment review. Ask which form, timeline and account documentation currently apply.
Submit the materials requested by Water Billing, including proof of repair and any account or usage information they require.
Castle Rock Water reviews the request and decides whether eligible usage can be charged at a lower tier rate. Subsurface Leak Detection does not control the review or guarantee a credit.
Check Castle Rock Water’s official leak-adjustment guidance for the latest rules before applying.
