How the Colorado Springs Utilities Program Works

The current utility form says the request and repair documentation must be received within 60 days of the due date on the bill for the period in which the leak occurred. Confirm the latest requirements directly with Colorado Springs Utilities before applying.

01

Submit Form & Docs

Complete the utility’s current Water Leak Adjustment Request Form and include available proof of repair, such as an itemized invoice or parts receipt.

02
Billing Review

Colorado Springs Utilities reviews the account, reported leak and submitted documentation under its current tariff and program rules.

03

Adjustment Credit

If the request is approved, Colorado Springs Utilities—not our company—calculates and applies any eligible adjustment. Results are not guaranteed.

Important: Water leak adjustments are limited to two per premise within any three‑year period. Timely repairs conserve water and reduce future bills.

Unusually

Unusually High Water Bill?

An unexplained increase in water use can point to a running fixture, irrigation problem, service-line leak or concealed plumbing loss. Our role is to locate the likely source and provide clear findings for repair planning. The utility’s current form states that only two water leak adjustments may be applied to an account in a 36-month period.

Review the official Colorado Springs Utilities request form and confirm current eligibility with Customer Billing before relying on any deadline or benefit.
